What to expect when you visit Kitsap Live Steamers

  • The trip is approximately a mile and a half and takes 10 to 12 minutes.
  • We try very hard to keep wait times in line to 20 minutes or less.

When you arrive and prepare to board a train, you will be given a short safety talk explaining how to enjoy the ride in a safe manner. Some key things to be aware of before you arrive are the following:

  • Large backpacks or bags are discouraged while riding the train but don't leave valuables at the station as we cannot be responsible for them.
  • Picture taking while riding the train is okay, but don't lean out and, please, no selfie sticks.
  • Babies are welcome to ride but must be held in a way that the adult's hands are free.  Front packs or slings are preferred.  Backpacks with the child carried above shoulder level are not acceptable on KLS trains.
  • Small children must be able to sit upright unassisted with legs straddling the seat.
  • Dogs, cats or other pets may not ride the train.
